Program Overview
Embark on a unique volunteering experience in Buriram, Thailand, where culture, sustainability, and community meet. Contribute to sustainable farming, community development, and environmental conservation while immersing yourself in the tranquility of rural Thailand. Enjoy hands-on activities, cultural exchanges, and mindfulness in a serene and beautiful setting.
Itinerary Week 1: 1-Week Program
Day 1: Arrival at Buriram International Airport, orientation, and welcome drink. Day 2: Compost-making and vegetable bed preparation. Day 3: Planting fruit trees and vegetables, with permaculture training. Day 4: Creating value-added farm products (jams, eco-goods). Day 5: Visit Elephant Village and explore the local culture. Day 6: Tour Panomrung Historical Park and learn its history. Day 7: Departure from Buriram International Airport. Week 2 (2-Week Program)
Includes all Week 1 activities, plus:
Day 8: Assist with construction projects (kitchen, bathroom improvements). Day 9: Paint walls and floors to enhance community spaces. Day 10: Help with drip irrigation systems on the farm. Day 11: Plant banana trees to support sustainable farming. Day 12: Visit Buriram’s international sports stadium. Day 13: Tour an organic farm, a Thai silk village, and a temple in Surin province. Day 14: Departure and drop-off at the airport.
Meals
Enjoy three vegan meals daily, made with fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients:
Breakfast: Fresh fruits, herbal teas, and coffee.
Lunch: Wholesome Thai dishes like fried rice and noodles.
Dinner: Light meals such as spring rolls and baked sweet potatoes.
Meals include protein-rich leaves, nuts, and grains like brown rice and homemade noodles.
Accommodation
Stay in rustic, eco-friendly wooden houses, accommodating two people per room. Equipped with fans, communal kitchens, and showers, the accommodation offers a comfortable and tranquil setting.
